Many countries advocate the world environment organisation

A French Minister claims more than 100 countries that have endorsed the idea of establishing a world environment organization (WEO) that Paris proposed.

"More than 100 countries have supported the proposal of France", Ms. Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, Minister for ecology, sustainable development, transport and housing of France, speaking during a Conference in Paris today 31/1, AFP reported.

The Conference was held in Paris to the proposed comments for events celebrating 20 years of the Conference on environment and development by the United Nations Organization in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992. Several hundred representatives of Governments, research institutes and societies across the planet joined the Conference in Paris.

A document by Mrs Kosciusko-Morizet announced shows more than 30 European countries, 54 African countries, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, Chile and Uruguay had supported the French proposal.

The idea of France as a world environment organization (WEO) will support the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), an agency that is complaining about analysis not afford to solve the most serious environmental problems such as climate change, ozone depletion, pollution and deforestation.

Not only is an agency in the United Nations, will have the authority to enforce WEO standards in international environment. Its system of organizations will include offices, branches and businesses throughout the world.

Speaking before reporters, Mrs Kosciusko-Morizet informed Us yet supported the proposed establishment of a world environment organisation.

"However, we have overcome the differences between the northern and southern hemispheres on an number of countries," she said.

Female Ministers say WEO should be more functions of a world economic studies, whereby countries would find out the mechanism to increase economic profits and still guarantee two things: protect the environment and maintain social justice.

"New capitalism are named from the economic crisis and it must be an ideology towards the environment. If the ideology which is not geared towards the environment, it's nothing new, "she declared.
