President of the World Bank the World Bank (WB) Robert Zoelick has just declared will resigned on 30-6 after his five-year term ends.
In an e-mail sent to the Board of WB, Zoellick wrote: "I am honored to become the leader of an organization with a lot of talent as the WB. Together, we have focused on supporting developing countries, tackling the financial crisis and the adjustment of global economic problems. The Bank now owns a powerful potential, a good position, ready to welcomed new challenges. This is the appropriate time for me to leave and supported a new leadership ".
Under the direction of Mr. Robert Zoelick, WB has provided a record 247 billion budget to help the developing countries to promote growth and poverty reduction.
Mr. Robert Zoelick year 59 years old, who is Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. He accepted the Presidency of WB from September 7-2007 after his predecessor, Paul Wolfowitz, to resign because the stick scandal bias girlfriend.
We at WB has not disclosed any information about the likely successor Zoelick. However according to unwritten rules, the head of the WB has always been American.
According to AFP, the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Secretary of Treasury Larry Summer's the brightest candidate to replace Mr. Robert Zoelick.
