The Woman in Black-ghost story chills?

In The Woman in Black, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe join a fantasy story about a vengeful ghost haunts a small town in the countryside of England.

When lawyer widow wife Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe) was sent to the town on the East Coast in Crythin Gifford addressed the work of Mrs. Alice Drablow. This task is the last chance to prove his ability to work with her boss. After that, he began noticing a trend appears very strange happening in and around Crythin Gifford: children locked in the House like the prisoners, people who had considered him as town disease, some people try to prove sympathetic advice "turn" of town.

Of course, Arthur did not understand the reasons of the bizarre things that until he comes across the swamps around the year full of fog along the coast to Eel Marsh House, one of the real estate of the Drablow. Inside the old House, Arthur quickly see and hear things that are bizarre: the Chair itself rocked, the sound of footsteps without riders--and a mysterious woman wearing mourning, appears in the remote window or lởn vởn.

When Arthur tries to find out the mystery and the relationship between the Drablows and the villagers, he increasingly realise the evidence of a wicked thing exists in Eel Marsh House.

Woman in Black continues to mark the return of Hammer Films, a British film production company famous for the Gothic style horror film, and directed by James Watkins (The Descent 2, Eden Lake), who was very successful in creating world full of ghost of evil and darkness.

The film was based on the 1983 novel by Susan Hill, were adapted into screenplays and television in the 1980s. Screenwriter Jane Goldman (who already familiar through films grossing Kick-Ass, The Debt, the X-men: First Class) changes some details in the story, but retains the "haunted" in the script.

Any ghost stories which also need "rules" such as ghost coming from where, expression of it, how it's capacity, …Although this was handled quite a lot in the movies, right from the first scene the viewer knows that this is the goal of the ghost children, but at the same time, the film is also very little land for the main character is Arthur starring Daniel as an older man.

This is the reason why The Woman in Black has very high efficiency but the effect is not very effective in giving the audience fears. The plot is quite fragile (basically, Arthur has stayed around for old home day, seeking the truth through the artifacts feared by a woman to death), but it still provides the backdrop for a number of market segments. At this point, Watkins was very intelligent Director in creating context. The image of death, the supernatural and the violence haunting in mind even as the film ends.

However, after a few scary images, the fear began to dissipate as it becomes clear that Arthur is not in danger as the "rules" is often seen in movies, and he's just a supporting character as prey truly of the ghost's child (acting as supporting characters in the film). The audience did not get the dreaded moment seeing a character faced with death, or the feeling that the main character can die-hence the fear quickly dissipate.

Similarly, characters that Daniel Radcliffe played should be exploited in Ghost aspect is more than simply a man with too much emotion while exploring and pursuing the story or strange happenings such as the Inaba. The actor succeeded in leaving the image of a Harry Potter character personality similarities with himself-but admittedly, the image of fatigue brought computer brand of Daniel existing in both the character.

Undeniable, the biggest success of the film's context was staged for Eel Marsh House. Fog landscape in gloomy, the combination of designer Niamh Coulter, cinematographer Tim Maurice-Jones and directing creative directed Watkins turned House into a real home of AWE. Even in the daylight, the props decorated the House still make it look "crafty" and Monster's birthday. Watkins and Jones used the angle, space and light to provide different effects that even the smallest detail also brings the fear as the collection of toys in room, … that's the most haunted house in which the audience is seeing.
